FOLLOW THE MAGIC

One year ago today, It Gets to Be Easy came into the world.

I was trying to distract myself from launch day; hiking with too many feelings and getting a massage to keep myself from refreshing Amazon every five minutes. And then my publisher texted:

Call it what it was: The Met Gala of Gay Halloweens. Ate, served, conquered and slayed. Never touching a wig again and popping a tums for the start of November. 🎃
#chicagohalloween #gayhalloween

Two weeks in and I can already feel the creative well filling up again.

Fortnight in Chicago:
✔️accidentally said “pop”
✔️already found my coffee spot and yes, have been shown the wedding pictures of my barista
✔️drove down a one way
